On behalf of the Tiverton Athletics Boosters Club, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who made our Third Annual Golf Tournament a huge success. The fundraising event took place on May 21 at the Swansea Country Club. No one drove away with the “hole-in-one car” generously donated by Route 44 Hyundai, but all had fun trying.  We had a full field and it was wonderful to see administration, guidance, teaching staff, coaches and alumni all coming together to raise money for our athletes. Tiger Pride was on full display.

We are truly grateful for our amazing Bronze sponsors, Phil’s Propane and Twin River Casino. Their generous donations were significant to our success. We would also like to thank our Sponsors Paquin Insurance, BayCoast Bank, Barrett Distribution Centers, BankNewport, Tiverton Co-Ed Basketball Camp, KP Manning, Route 44 Hyundai, Phillips Painting, Woody’s Carpentry, Tiverton Police Department, Aquidneck Island Baseball League, TruVue Alarms, Tiverton Materials and Pirate’s Cove Marina.

It was nice to see the Tiverton Police Department not only sponsor our tournament, but also participate and interact with the field. They were well represented. Lastly, we greatly appreciate the help of a number of businesses and friends who donated items for our raffle including Tiverton Yacht Club, The McKinnon Family, Patricia Brigham, Kris Welchmen, Cara Hart and The Ennis Family. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.

The Tiverton Athletic Boosters Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports, encourages and advances the athletic programs at Tiverton High School. “Our mission is to promote positive parent and community involvement in the support of the Tiverton Tigers’ athletic program. This involvement consists of both volunteer service and the financial support required to foster the development of our athletes; and to maintain the history and the tradition of excellence in academics, character, and sportsmanship.”

Go Tigers!
