Tiverton police: man charged with assault on person over 60

At 2:19 p.m., Keith G. Mottas, 40, of 1205 Crandall Road, Tiverton, was charged with assault on a person over 60 years old causing bodily injury, and obtaining money (less than $500) under false pretenses.

At 10:04 a.m., a Pocasset Avenue caller said her dog was attacked by a neighbor's German Shepard and may have to be put down. The attacking dog was taken to Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital "for quarantine."

Saturday, Feb. 6

After allegedly have been given a taxi ride from a Fall River tavern, Christine Devlin, 42, of 2955 Main Road, Tiverton, was charged at 3:31 p.m. with "pay evasion of fare from train, bus, auto."
