Monday, April 29

Tiverton Police: Officers respond to multiple domestic and casino calls

Following is an overview of Tiverton Police activity from April 29 to May 5.

Monday, April 29

An Old Bulgarmarsh Road resident reported a neighbor dispute at 10:41 a.m.

A caller reported fraud on Canonicus Street at 1:06 p.m.

A Massachusetts resident complained of soliciting on Main Road at 1:14 p.m.

911 callers complained of erratic drivers on Route 24 at 2:08 p.m. and on the Sakonnet River Bridge at 4:06 p.m.

Reports of harassment/threats on Main Road came in at 3:09 p.m. and on Carpenter Street at 3:42 p.m.

An animal complaint came in from East Road at 5:59 p.m.

Rebecca L. Herman, 41, of 18 Howland Rd., Lakeville, MA, was charged on a Superior Court Bench Warrant with possession of a schedule I to V controlled substance – 10 grams or less, following a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business on Stafford Road.

Tuesday, April 30

A report of a drug/narcotic violation on Tiverton Casino Boulevard came in at 1:27 a.m.

A Hooper Street resident reported a disturbance at 6:31 a.m.

A resident complained of soliciting on Fish Road at 1:36 p.m.

A caller reported an unwanted individual on Bulgarmarsh Road at 2:10 a.m.

An animal complaint came in from Bulgarmarsh Road at 3:14 a.m.

A 911 caller reported a domestic incident on Mill Street at 7:54 p.m.

Callers reported suspicious individuals at a Stafford Road business at 8:02 p.m. and on Quintal Drive at 9:47 p.m.

A drug/narcotic violation was reported on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 9:53 p.m.

A report of a suspicious vehicle on Roosevelt Avenue came in at 11:06 p.m.

Wednesday, May 1

A caller reported harassment/threats on Bulgarmarsh Road at 1:30 a.m.

A resident reported trespassing on Furey Avenue at 11:19 a.m.

A report of an unwanted person on Bulgarmarsh Road came in at 11:48 a.m.

A 911 caller reported a drug/alcohol violation on Colonial Avenue at 12:45 p.m.

A caller reported an assault on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 1:25 p.m.

A resident filed a report of larceny on Main Road at 1:43 p.m.

A caller reported an erratic driver on Route 24 at 7:01 p.m.

A report of vandalism on Tiverton Casino Boulevard came in at 7:56 p.m.

A caller complained of noise on Main Road at 9:30 p.m.

A Main Road resident filed a dirt bike/ATV complaint at 9:44 p.m.

A noise complaint on Main Road came in at 10:01 p.m.

A caller complained of an unwanted person on Bulgarmarsh Road at 10:06 p.m.

Thursday, May 2

Reports of suspicious vehicles came in on Bulgarmarsh Road at 12:26 a.m. and on Main Road at 11:12 a.m.

A caller reported a domestic incident on Riverview Avenue at 11:13 a.m.

A caller reported burglary/breaking & entering on Judson Street at 11:19 a.m.

A Fir Avenue resident requested an officer to keep the peace at 3:44 p.m.

A report of harassment/threats came in at 4:12 p.m.

Keith M. Levesque, 39, of 4 Bowen Ave., was charged on a bench warrant issued by Second Division District Court after a report of a suspicious individual on Main Road came in at 7 p.m.

An animal complaint came in at 9:33 p.m.

Friday, May 3

Reports of suspicious vehicles at a Main Road business at 3:20 a.m. and at Tiverton Casino Boulevard came in at 7:33 a.m.

A Terrace Avenue resident reported a neighbor dispute at 9:17 a.m.

A caller requested an officer on Watuppa Avenue at 11:32 a.m.

John Joseph McClellan, 36, of 1128 Bay St., Apt. #1, Taunton, was charged with domestic willful trespass – first offense, and domestic disorderly conduct - first offense after a 911 caller reported a domestic incident at 5:39 p.m.

An animal complaint came in from a Main Road business at 8:31 p.m.

A report of a suspicious vehicle came in at 10:23 p.m.

A caller reported a road rage incident at 11:33 p.m.

Saturday, May 4

A report of suspicious vehicles came in on Shove Street at 12:28 a.m. and Laura Street 9:29 a.m.

A report of a disturbance on Tiverton Casino Boulevard came in at 12:30 a.m.

A caller reported trespassing on Merritt Ave. at 9:54 a.m.

A caller reported weapons violations on Nanaquaket Road at 11:46 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from Holly Circle at 12:23 a.m. and from a Main Road business at 1:50 p.m.

A Jay Street resident request an officer at 3:45 p.m.

A resident reported an unwanted person at a Bulgarmarsh Road business at 7:43 p.m.

A caller reported a disturbance on Main Road at 9:22 p.m.

A 911 caller reported a domestic incident on Horizon Drive at 10:51 p.m.

Julia Greenwood, 32, of 29 Green St., Westport, was charged with domestic vandalism, first offense and domestic disorderly conduct, first offense, after a 911 caller reported a domestic incident on Corys Lane at 11:59 p.m.

Sunday, May 5

An animal complaint came in from Bulgarmarsh Road at 11:03 a.m.

A caller reported a neighbor dispute on Shannon Ave. at 12:26 p.m.

A Shove Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle at 2:57 p.m.

A caller reported an unwanted person at a Main Road business at 3:09 p.m.

A 911 caller reported harassment/threats on Stafford Road at 6:17 p.m.

A resident reported a suspicious vehicle at 9:15 p.m.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far.
