Tiverton soccer wins in overtime, 2-1,

Tiverton senior Austin Garvey scored five minutes into overtime to beat Johnston 2-1 in a Division III preliminary home game on Friday night. Ryan Amaral tied the game 1-1 for the Tigers, scoring a goal in the second half. Goalkeeper Ian McNally saved nine on the night. Johnston's only goal came in the first half on Christian Arriaza's blooper over McNally's head.

Next up: Tiverton plays at Davies on Monday, 11/2, at 3 p.m.
