PORTSMOUTH — The Portsmouth Free Public Library will hold its annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Glen Park.
Children (and adults) can get up close and personal with all kinds of big and fascinating vehicles.
From a school bus to a police car, from a race car to a fire truck, everyone will have the opportunity to see, touch, blow horns and learn about dozens of cool vehicles. Giant trucks and equipment volunteered by municipal and commercial organizations will be on display. New this year will be charter fishing boats.
Admission is $3 per person for the day. In addition to the vehicle display, there will be demonstrations, including robotics and martial arts. Food will be available for purchase from the Portsmouth Lions Club.
Proceeds from the event will go toward library purchases.
