A juvenile and adult are facing charges in connection with a stabbing last Tuesday that left a man with a punctured lung. Mason D. Jones, 19, of 726 Main St., and a juvenile, 15, were each charged with conspiracy and felony assault with a dangerous weapon following the Tuesday, Nov. 27 incident. Police were called to Main Street near Campbell just after 1:30 a.m. by a caller who reported hearing a man screaming for help. When they arrived, officers found an 18-year-old man with a knife wound to the back. Before being taken to the hospital for treatment of a punctured lung, he told them he was stabbed after getting into an altercation with the two over a girlfriend. The two suspects fled the scene before police arrived, but the victim gave officers enough information for them to identify and locate them. When police went to arrest Mr. Jones at his home, they also arrested him on an outstanding warrant issued in June, when Warren police put out an arrest warrant relating to a car that had been reported stolen that month. In addition to the conspiracy and felony assault charge, police also charged Mr. Jones with larceny over $1,500, in relation to that stolen car complaint.
