The NBC10 Newport International Polo Series , Presented by BMW will feature USA vs. Jamaica on Saturday, Aug. 19th, 2017 at 5PM, followed by an après polo Jamaican Jerk Grill (advanced reservations required:

General admission ($12/adult) in advance online or at the entry gates, kids free up to age 15, for lawn & grandstand seating. Picnics of food & beverage welcome.

Reserved box seating ($20/person) at tables within the ALEX AND ANI Pavilion by advanced reservation. Bar-service provided. Gourmet food trucks on site.

Positive Energy Polo Lounge on select dates ($50/person) for reserved seating in all-inclusive private entertainment enclave, includes complimentary gourmet hors d’oeuvres, specialty cocktails and champagne, and seating among VIP sponsors and guests, by advanced reservation.

Beloved by fans and plyers alike, the Jamaican Polo Team returns on Aug. 19th, with veteran players, known for their skilled horsemanship. Competition with Team USA has brought nearly even results; out of the last 13 matches the teams are neck and neck as USA scored 135 goals to Jamaica’s 133.

Dating back more than 130 years in America's First Resort, the polo matches are one of Newport’s grandest & most popular traditions, a living legacy from the Gilded Age, and open to the public. Audiences of several thousand spectators enjoy the contests against international teams, as well as teams representing major US cities, playing against the home team every Sat, June thru Sept. at 5 PM / 4 PM in Sept.
