Thirty years ago a group of enthusiastic New England quilters began to dream of establishing a regional quilt museum. That dream became a reality when the New England Quilt Museum (NEQM) board of directors met for the first time in June 1987. Decades later, the NEQM continues to advance the mission first conceived by its founding mothers and has become one of the most vibrant and treasured small museums in the Northeast.
The coach will leave from the Municipal Lot on Thames Street in Bristol at 9:30 am and depart New Bedford at 3:30 pm. Please pack a lunch, otherwise provisions can be purchased on location.
