PORTSMOUTH — Why settle for one Fourth of July fireworks display?

On Saturday night, we counted no fewer than a dozen different displays from a vantage point on a deserted Common Fence Point Beach in the north end of Portsmouth. (Not all 12 can be seen at once in this short video, however.)

In the video below, you can see fireworks from Escobar’s Highland Farm in Portsmouth, Newport and Fall River, among other places. Several private or neighborhood displays were also part of the light show.

The view here looks west toward Bristol, with the Mt. Hope Bridge on the left side of the frame.
