Warren has instituted a parking ban as the region braces for the arrival of Winter Storm Skylar late Tuesday night.

Forecasters are predicting 12 to 18 inches of snow in our area, with winds gusting near Hurricane force.

Warren officials met at 2:30 p.m. Monday to plan their response to the storm; as of now an on-street parking ban will go into effect at midnight.

Interim Warren Town Manager Kate Michaud said that no decision has yet been made on whether to cancel Tuesday’s Warren Town Council meeting, which is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
