Wonder how the other half lives? A sprawling waterfront home in Touisset has sold for a whopping $1.6 million. Lila Delman Real Estate International facilitated the sale last week of 18-20 Stonegate Road, to an as-yet undisclosed buyer. The property was formerly owned by trustee Andrew Shabshaolwitz.

The sale is the highest value residential sale in Warren since the sale of 4 Stonegate Road in 2012, according to data from the Rhode Island Statewide MLS. The private two-home compound covers 2.35 acres with 500 feet of Mt. Hope Bay frontage. The fully renovated 5,000-square-foot main house has a cook’s kitchen, five gbedrooms and four baths, along with a beach stone fireplace. Various porches and terraces grace the house on every level. In addition, a carriage house for guests and cars has been recently built with a huge living room, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, small kitchen and bathroom on the ground level. A grand staircase leads to a large sleeping loft space with its own half bath.
