Monday, June 18

A woman asked that police disperse a male acquaintance of her after an argument on Market Street.

Police left a note for the owner after getting a call about a dog left outside of a Brittney Lane home without adequate water.

A Seymour Street resent called police just before 8:30 p.m. to report hearing fireworks.

Tuesday, June 19

A juvenile from Bristol, 15, was charged with simple assault or battery after police said he slapped a female student on the rear last month at the Kickemuit Middle School. The case is being forwarded to Rhode Island Family Court.

A Taddy Avenue woman reported an argument between her husband and daughter.

John M. Silvia, 56, of Bristol, was arrested on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant.

John A. Bernardo, 50, of Cumberland, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic simple assault/battery, after a woman called from Main Street to report that Mr. Bernardo was trying to get in though the back door of the residence.

Wednesday, June 20

A raccoon stowed away aboard a boat berthed at the bottom of Miller Street, but the animal control officer helped give it the heave ho.

A Napolean Street woman reported her child’s disobedience.

A Martin Street woman reported the theft of her cell phone.

A Cottage Street woman complained that someone opened a wireless account in her name.

Daniel Peck, 52, of 30 Oyster Point, was arrested on a Sixth Division District Court warrant.

A Seymour Street resident reported loud fireworks.

Thursday, June 21

Two co-workers at an Asylum Road site reported getting into a confrontation.

Danny J. Tager Jr., 33, of Attleboro, was charged with domestic cyberstalking and cyberharassment. The complainant, a former girlfriend, told police he would constantly harass her and send high volumes of e-mails, after being advised to contact her.

A caller complained that a man was running through the Broad Street neighborhood and yelling. Turns out he was looking for his lost dog.

Friday, June 22

Jason M. Glynn, 36, of 108 Market St., Apt. 3, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense, after police pulled him over on Market Street just before 8 a.m.

Loose chickens were spotted strutting around Strawberry Lane.

A Broad Street resident complained about a neighbor’s constantly barking dogs.

Marcus A. Flecha, 36, of Providence, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense, after police pulled him over on Market Street at 4 p.m.

Donald S. Fuller, 43, of 15 Cutler St., Apt. 6, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense, after police pulled him over on Main Street just before 4:30 p.m.

A man doing laundry at the Main street laundromat reported his clothes stolen. Check of security footage showed his daughter removing the clothes from the machine.

A caller reported seeing hypodermic needles on Kickemuit Road, but police could not find any where he said they were.

Saturday, June 23

Robert A. Ivey, 48, of 162 Water St., was charged with injuring or tampering with vehicles after police got a call at 3:36 a.m. that a man was walking through yards, touching residents’ cars. Police said Mr. Ivey gave several different explanations as to why he was in the area.

A King Street woman told police that her husband, whom she is in the process of divorcing, threw out her clothes and toothbrush.

A walk-in told police that he suspects his daughter may have been sexually assaulted by her babysitter, between September and October. Police are investigating.

Christopher J. Weston, 24, of West Warwick, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense, after police pulled him over on Market Street just after 4 p.m.

A man and woman were reported fighting on Union Street.

Sunday, June 24

Carlo D. Ferreira, 37, of 51 Laurel Lane, was charged with domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct, two days after a complainant stated she had gotten into an argument with Mr. Ferreira, and during that time he allegedly sprayed her in the face with weed killer.

A caller from Libby Lane told police at 3:16 a.m. that he could hear someone screaming near the gazebo behind Kickemuit Village. Turned out to be a man, with headphones on, singing enthusiastically along. 

A caller reported coming across an aggressive husky near Kinnicutt Avenue.

Monday, June 25

Michael P. Piacente, 24, of South Kingstown, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense, after police pulled him over on Almy Avenue just after 11 a.m.
