Warren police logs: Two overdoses; Narcan administered

Monday, Oct. 22

A Columbus Way resident complained about credit card identity theft.

Police spoke to a man on Main Street after a caller complained about a panhandler.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

Items were reported stolen from a car parked on Everett Street.

A caller reported an aggressive driver on Market Street.

A man on Wood Street waved down and officer and reported that someone unknown to him ran at him while brandishing a stick. Police determined no assault took place.

A Church Street woman complained that a man walking his dog was looking into cars.

Wednesday, Oct. 24

A caller reported a driver swerving all over the road on Market Street.

A caller saw two adults and a child enter a home on St. Teresa Drive through an open window. Police determined that they had permission to be on the property.

A passerby complained about two juveniles harassing people walking by on Market Street. Police determined there was no issue — they were waving at friends in the area.

Rescue crews were called to Metacom Avenue at 9:28 p.m. for a reported overdose. Crews administered Narcan, an anti-opioid.

A woman called from Overhill Road to report that her father-in-law was intoxicated and was acting belligerent.

Thursday, Oct. 25

A Cottage Street woman complained about a dog that had been barking for about half an hour.

Maria A. Mallett, 51, of Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, after police were called to Main Street just after 12:30 p.m. for a report of a woman who would not get out of her car.

Friday, Oct. 26

A caller reported a possible shoplifter in a Main Street business.

A woman called police after a man approached her on Miller Street and begged for money. Police looked for, but could not find, the man.

Saturday, Oct. 27

A Schoolhouse Road woman reported damage to her mailbox.

Police and rescue crews responded to Wood Street for an overdose. A rescue responder administered Narcan, an anti-opioid drug, and the patient was reportedly revived. 

Sunday, Oct. 28

An erratic driver was reported at Metacom Avenue, near Laurel Lane. 

A caller from Metacom Avenue said she saw a woman punch a child.

A walk-in turned in a wallet found at Wood Street and Hall Avenue.

A Birchswamp Road resident reported receiving harassing telephone calls.
