Monday, Nov. 23

Medication was reported stolen from a home on Child Street.

An aggressive driver was reported on Metacom Avenue.

Someone complained that a man stood on the corner of Metacom Avenue and Stuart Street nearly every night. It turns out he was a cook at a nearby restaurant.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

Think your commute is rough? One Metacom Avenue man’s was rougher Tuesday morning. The man got in his car at 7 a.m., turned the key, hit the gas and promptly clunked to a stop, after all four tires fell off the car. It turns out that someone had removed all of the lug nuts from his tires.

A GPS device was taken from a car on Franklin Street.

Jason T. Simonson, 32, of Providence, turned himself in on a warrant for domestic disorderly conduct, third offense, and domestic simple assault/battery, third offense. The arrest stems from an assault that allegedly occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Police got a call about a drunken man on Main Street.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

Joseph P. Hoven, 41, of Pawtucket, was cited for driving infractions and arrested on a warrant from Sixth Division District Court, after police pulled him over just before 1 a.m. at the intersection of Market and John streets.

Fire crews put out a pellet stove fire on Kinnicutt Avenue.

Thursday, Nov. 26

A caller asked that police disperse a drunken man from a Westminster Street home. The call came in at 5 a.m.

Fire crews went to a Union Street home following a cooking mishap.

Two callers from Main Street reported finding a set of keys and a briefcase.

A Main Street woman complained that her boyfriend took her credit card and car.

The animal control officer went to a Luther Street home after getting a call from a neighbor concerned about the condition of a dog there. The animal had been tied up outside for most of the day; the animal officer brought the dog inside.

Friday, Nov. 27

A Parker Avenue resident reported being threatened by a neighbor.

Jeremy Kilduff, 40, of 192 Market St., first floor, was arrested on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court in Providence.

Police got a call about a man and woman shoving each other on Railroad Avenue. It turned out that one of the people involved inadvertently b umped into another person; there turned out to be no problem.

Someone found drugs on Market Street and turned them in.

Saturday, Nov. 28

An employee of a fast food restaurant on Metacom Avenue complained that a customer threw a water bottle at her through the drive through, after she refused to serve the people in the car. The call came in at 12:15 a.m.

Someone complained that the owner of a Jeep parked his/her car two feet from the curb on Water Street.

DEM police called Warren authorities and asked for assistance in locating a gray SUV with a deer in the back, which had been spotted on Maple Road. Police and DEM officers looked for the truck, but could not find it.

Police got a call about a disorderly man who kicked over a trash barrel on Market Street, at about 8:22 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 29

Alan R. St.Vincent, 20, of 905 Hope St. in Bristol, was charged with high speed pursuit, first offense, after an officer on a fixed traffic post on Metacom Avenue reported that a truck doing 74 miles per hour passed him just after 4 a.m., bound south for Bristol. The truck, a Ford F150, turned down Sherman Avenue in Bristol, headed back onto Metacom, turned west onto Tupelo Street and then south on Hope Street, finally turning onto Tobin Lane in Bristol. Mr. St. Vincent was arrested at the scene.

A Katie Drive man reported getting into a fight with his girlfriend.

A loud music call came in from Water Street at 1:46 p.m.
