Warren police: Woman can't elude officers, gets DUI

Sunday, Oct. 1

A Mason Street man complained that his neighbors were having a loud party.

A caller reported to police that the showers at the Warren Town Beach were running. Police checked it out and noticed that while they were running, they were in use by kids.

A bicyclist complained of a person who threw trash onto the East Bay Bike Path.

Monday, Oct. 2

The fire chief checked out a call on Davis Street; a woman had a cooking mishap.

A Market Street woman reported receiving harassing texts.

Andrew E. Stanzione, 29, of 394 Metacom Ave., Apt. 1, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, second offense.

Elina R. Alvarez, 26, of Providence, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license.

Tuesday, Oct. 3

A woman called police after she was stopped and asked for money while driving on School Street.

A man on Davis Street reported being assaulted.

Wednesday, Oct. 4

A Davis Street resident called police at 6:43 a.m. to complain about construction workers and the noise from their equipment.

An Arlington Avenue man was bitten by his dog.

Police notified its owner after officers found a wallet.

A Child Street resident reported identity fraud.

A caller reported a panhandler on Water Street.

A caller from Ridgeway Drive reported that her daughter’s boyfriend was intoxicated and arguing with her.

Thursday, Oct. 5

Kristen H. Bates, 31, of 24 Asselin St., Apt. 1, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, third or subsequent offense.

The animal control officer went to Water Street for an opossum stuck in a trash barrel. He reported later that the animal had been “relieved.”

A Davis Street man who let his nephew spend the night called police after the nephew refused to leave the following day.

A juvenile reported missing from Vernon Street returned home less than an hour after the call.

A Union Street woman went to police headquarters to complain that her neighbors didn’t supervise their children.

A panhandler call came in from Water and Miller streets.

Robert A. Ivey, 47, of 162 market St., was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct after police bot multiple calls about a drunk man at Water and Miller streets.

Friday, Oct. 6

Kristie L. Carlson, 40, of 5 Barker Ave.,  was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, reckless driving, eluding a police officer in a high speed pursuit, and driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license. after police pulled her over on Metacom Avenue, near Rosa Boulevard, at 12:39 a.m.

The animal control officer told a Child Street man to bring his dog inside after receiving a complaint about a barking dog.

A caller complained about kids playing in the road on Sisson Street.

Saturday, Oct. 7

A passer-by told police that a woman was taunting a dog on Metacom Avenue.

A Metacom Avenue resident complained about a neighbor’s loud music. Soon after, a similar call came in from Market Street.

Police spoke to a few men on Child Street after getting a call that one of them was drunk.

Jason Thomas Aniello, 41, of North Providence, was arrested by Warren police on a Rhode Island Family Court warrant, following a traffic stop.

Sunday, Oct. 8

A Stuart Street resident complained about neighbors making noise at 1:37 a.m.

A passer-by on Metacom Avenue reported finding drug paraphernalia. Police picked it up and disposed of it.

A walk-in found a $20 bill sticking out of an ATM at the Dunkin Donuts on Main Street, and brought it to the police station.

Monday, Oct. 9

An Orchard Avenue resident reported finding an opossum in the trash. No word on whether it was later relieved.

Cars were reported vandalized on Vernon Street and Sowamsett Avenue.
