Voters in Warren approved five capital budget items at an all day referendum held Tuesday. Only 118 residents showed up at the polls.
The results are as follows:
1. Should Warren borrow up to $650,000 to finance road paving in town, paying the money back with 20-year general obligation bonds?
Yes: 91
No: 25


2. Should Warren borrow up to $350,000 to finance curbing and sidewalk projects, paying the money back with 20-year general obligation bonds?
Yes: 79
No: 37


3. Should Warren borrow up to $320,000 to finance the purchase of a new rescue truck, paying the money back with five-year general obligation bonds?
Yes: 103
No: 15


4. Should Warren borrow up to $1,924,643 to finance various capital improvements and equipment which individually do not exceed $250,000, paying the money back with 20-year general obligation bonds?
Yes: 75
No: 43


5. Should Warren borrow up to $500,000 to provide funds for the acquisition of open space including, but not limited to, and/or the purchase of development rights, and to pay the money back with 20-year general obligation bonds?
Yes: 59
No: 57
