Westport police logs: Two DUIs this week

Monday, March 11

A 911 caller reported an accident with injuries on American Legion Highway at 7:35 a.m.

A 911 caller reported a suspicious person at Hix Bridge Road and Route 88. But police said the 8:39 a.m. call was unfounded.

Animal complaints came in from State Road at 1:10 p.m.

Police pulled over three cars and issued two citations over the course of the day.

Tuesday, March 12

A caller reported a suspicious person at Route 88 and American Legion Highway at 3:22 p.m.

A caller from Sodom Road reported a dispute with a neighbor at 3:47 p.m.

A caller from Christopher Circle asked police to keep the peace at 3:55 p.m.

A caller from Narrow Avenue lodged animal complaints at 3:57 p.m.

A 911 caller from Christopher Circle reported a disturbance at 4:07 p.m.

A 911 caller reported a motor vehicle violation on Fisher Road at 5:44 p.m.

A 911 caller reported an accident at Hix Bridge Road and Route 88 at 6:05 p.m.

Police pulled over three vehicles and issued two citations over the course of the day.

Wednesday, March 13

A 12:13 a.m. 911 call regarding a suspicious person on Sycamore Lane proved unfounded, police said.

Police pulled over two vehicles and issued one citation over the course of the day.

Thursday, March 14

A 911 caller reported an accident on Blossom Road at 7:08 a.m.

Police pulled over one vehicle, issuing one citation over the course of the day.

Friday, March 15

A 911 caller reported a motor vehicle violation on Hix Bridge Road just before 8 a.m. Another was reported on Old County Road at 2:20 p.m., and a third from State Road at 4:28 p.m.

A 911 caller from Robert Street reported suspicious activity just after 8 a.m.

A caller from Kirby Road reported larceny, forgery or fraud at 2:41 p.m.

Theresa Greaves, 47, of 278 Flint St., Fall River, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, and cited for a marked lane violation, after police pulled her over on State Road at 8:51 p.m.

A caller from Old Bedford Road reported a disturbance at 11:06 p.m., but police deemed it unfounded.

Police pulled over four vehicles over the course of the day, citing one driver and arresting another.

Saturday, March 16

A State Road caller reported a stolen vehicle at 9:34 a.m.

A 911 caller reported a fire on Gabriella Drive at 6:55 p.m.

A vehicle previously reported stolen was recovered on Vine Street at 8:51 p.m.

A caller reported a suspicious car on Union Avenue just after 10 p.m., but police deemed it unfounded.

Monica Silvia, 38, of 1 Strawberry Lane, Dartmouth, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, failing to signal, and cited for a marked lane violation, after police pulled her over at Route 88 and Charlotte White Road at 10:30 p.m.

A caller from Washington Street reported a neighbor dispute at 11:26 p.m.

Sunday, March 17

A caller from Sodom Road reported suspicious activity at 5 p.m.

A caller from East Beach Road reported a suspicious person at 6:09 p.m.

Police pulled over four vehicles and issued one citation over the course of the day.
