Zoe E. Woodruff, 86, of Barrington, passed away on Friday, Aug. 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Randolph T. (Woody) Woodruff and daughter to the late Harry O. Eberhardt and the late Stella Wilde.

Zoe's love for her husband, family and their children was inspiring. She loved flowers, playing bridge, the Barrington Congregational Church and writing poems and stories about her life experiences. Also, Zoe loved to watch and cheer on the New England Patriots. Zoe graduated from Lesley College with a degree in education.

She leaves behind three daughters, Karen Dziedzic (Joseph Sr.) of Barrington, Diana Costa of Rockland, Mass., and Nancy Grillo (Richard) of Waterford, Conn., and one son Glenn Woodruff (Leanne) of Nantucket, Mass. She also leaves five grandsons, Joseph Jr., Jeffrey Dziedzic, Ryan Grillo, Daniel Woodruff, and Adam Grillo and four great-granddaughters, Ella, Mia, Geri, and Neely.

Zoe was predeceased by her brother Conrad W. Eberhardt. Besides her family she also leaves her many friends who she cherished.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m. in Barrington Congregational Church, 461 County Road, Barrington, RI 02806. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Barrington Congregational Church in Zoe Woodruff's memory would be greatly appreciated. Please visit smithmason.com for online condolences.
