The Tiverton boy soccer team watched a two-goal lead slip away at home Wednesday, Sept. 28, as Pilgrim’s Danny Peixinho scored two second half goals to even the score.

As a result, the Tigers emerged with a tie, their third of the season, to bring their record to 1-2-3.

Freshman Chad Carreiro struck first for Tiverton on an assist from Medeiros to give Tiverton a 1-0 halftime lead.

Alec Arruda built on that momentum with a second half goal assisted by Brendan Tappen, before Pilgrim answered.

Tiverton goalie Greg Johanning made seven saves.
