Arthur A. Arruda, 82, Tiverton

Arthur A. Arruda, 82, of Tiverton, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. 

Born in Tiverton, he was the son of the late Mary (Medeiros) and John Arruda.  He had served in the U.S. Army as a SP 4 (E-4).  He then worked as a Cloth Examiner for Duro Finishing. 

He is survived by a nephew, Kenneth T. Roderick; and nieces, Cheryl DeMello and Carol-Ann Rahl.

He also leaves a sister, Elsie Giasson; and a brother, Joseph Arruda, along with several other nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by several other brothers and sisters.

A private burial will be held at Pocasset Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements were with the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton.  www,almeida-pocasset.com for online guestbook.
