Ella Dorothea Frost (née Briere), 94, died peacefully November 12 in Liverpool, N.Y.

Ella, more lovingly known as Dot, was a long-time resident of Little Compton and Tiverton. She had a great passion for needle crafts, sketching and painting, skills that she loved to teach and share with her grandchildren. She had a love of nature and, as a true New Englander, a love of a good seafood dinner.

She is survived by her five children, Karen Frost Carroll of Little Compton, Naomi Frost Kaye and husband Stanley of Liverpool,N.Y., David Briere Frost and wife Donna of Fallbrook, Calif., Paula Susan Frost of New Bedford, Mass., and Daryl Dawn Frost.

Grandchildren, Heather Kaye TenEyck, husband Tim, son Tyler; Rebecca Kaye Szwajkos, husband Brian, son Kyle Padrick; Sara Kaye Haubold husband Carl, daughter MegAnn; Christopher Kaye wife Cindy, children Michael Czartoszewski; and Tabitha Lyon, children Aeden, Ellie and Meah, Jennifer Carroll, partner Matthew Faustino, daughter Gillian; David Frost, mother Jeanne Robinson, Michael, mother Daryl.

There will be a celebration of her life in Little Compton to be announced in the spring. Donations in her name may be made to the Little Compton Village Improvement Society.
