Eudora Ann Gustafson, 66, Bristol

Eudora Ann (Silvia) Gustafson, 66, of Sowams Drive, passed away on Feb. 10, 2017. She was the wife of Mark Gustafson.   
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Joseph Silvia and the late Bertha (Cabral) Silvia. She was the mother of John McKenzie, June Palmer and Raymond Paiva III; grandmother of Jonathan McKenzie, Shawn McKenzie, Dylan Palmer, Danielle Palmer, Raymond Paiva IV, Zachary Paiva and Nevaeh Paiva; great grandmother of Taylin, Gauge, Maverick and Jackson; and sister of Joseph Silvia and Greg Silvia. She is also survived by her stepsister, Sheila Jubinville; stepdaughter Amber Rae Webb and step grandchildren Andrew Webb and Christopher Webb.

Eudora was one of the first women to volunteer for the Bristol Rescue Squad more than 30 years ago. She responded to calls on Rescue 2 until an illness forced her to stop volunteering. She also worked as a CNA at several nursing homes in the Bristol and Warren area.

Her funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 24, 9 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Funeral Service, 10 a.m., at St. Michael’s Church, 399 Hope St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours are Thursday, 4-8 p.m.
