Diane M. (Moniz) Ferreira, 51, of Tiverton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of David A. Ferreira.

Mrs. Ferreira was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Leonard and Diane (Fortin) Moniz, and had been a lifelong resident of Tiverton. She worked as a CNA for Ocean State Nursing, Middletown.  She was a hard working person and enjoyed helping people in need. Family was the most important part of her life.

Survivors along with her husband include her son, Dylan M. Ferreira of Tiverton; her two daughters, Heather L. Ferreira of Tiverton and Haley M. Ferreira and her fiancé Erik Silvia of Tiverton; two sisters, Laura Moniz of Fall River and Jennifer Chesser of Alabama; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life to which relatives and friends are invited will be announced at a later date.
