Marion Yates Williston, 98, of Tiverton, passed away on Dec. 24, 2018, at home surrounded by her caretakers. She was the widow of G. Robert Williston.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Rowena and Walter Tetlow.
She worked at Blair's Card Shop, Anderson Little and was a secretary for Williston's Auto Electric Co. She lived in Fall River for 26 years, moved to Tiverton in 1945, and lived in Florida seasonally with her spouse for 30 years.
Her hobbies were reading, movies, being in her home and spending time with family and friends. She went to school at Davol, Davis and BMC Durfee in Fall River.
She was the mother of Glenn Williston and the late Gerry Williston. She was the grandmother of Stephen, Bryon, Christopher and Scott Williston, along with Betsy Thompson and Heidi Champagne. She also leaves several great grandchildren and nieces.
Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton, prior to her funeral service which will be held at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Pocasset Hill Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com.
