Paula L. Doherty, 90, Tiverton

Paula L. (Jackson) Doherty, 90, of Fall River, formerly of Tiverton, wife of the late James B. Doherty, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

She was a real estate broker for Brenner Real Estate and Auclair Real Estate and a bookkeeper at Harold Lash Finance and Gerald Zide Finance.

She was a member of the Women's Club in Tiverton, many card leagues, Second Half Learning in Fall River and was a longtime member of the Tiverton Yacht Club. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, Las Vegas and Atlantic City and also enjoyed traveling to Florida. She enjoyed playing piano, music and spending time with her granddaughters.

She was the mother of Brian Doherty and Kevin Doherty, both of Fall River, and Sheila Foley (husband Thomas) of Little Compton, and the late Michael Doherty; the grandmother of Lauren Foley of New York, NY, Meghan Foley Walsh (husband Tim) of NJ, and Mary Kate Foley of Little Compton; and also leaves nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louise Doyle and Rosalie Greenwood and the daughter of the late Ernest I. and Jessie G. (Casey) Jackson.

Her funeral was held Monday, March 19, at 8:45 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral Mass at St. Christopher Church, Tiverton at 10.
