Rita S. Stratton, 87, Tiverton

Rita S. (Brooder) Boissonneau Stratton, 87 of Tiverton, passed away on April 18, 2017.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John and Blanche (Giasson) Brooder, and wife of the late Armand R. Boissonneau.

Rita had worked in the school lunch program for 27 years in Tiverton until her retirement in 1994.  She was a member of Holy Ghost Parish and the Green Valley Country Club.  She was an avid golfer. 

She is survived by a son, Bruce Boissonneau (Deborah Laflamme), a brother Donald Brooder; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and her son-in-law, Wayne Montgomery.

She was the mother of the late Karen Boissonneau Montgomery. The family would like to extend their thanks to Southpointe Rehab. and Beacon Hospice.

Private arrangements were held from the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, with burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.  www.almeida-pocasset.com for on line guestbook.
