The Westport Scouting Association will be hosting its 4th annual Touch-a-Truck event on Sunday, June 11, at UMass-Dartmouth.
There will be more than 50 vehicles for kids and parents alike to inspect, climb on, and try out the buttons, knobs, and controls. Vehicles will include fire and police vehicles, heavy construction equipment, antique cars, farm equipment and much more.
Some returning favorites from last year include the Westport police and fire departments, SEMLEC SWAT from the Mattapoisett Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, the Westport Highway Department, and Amaral Bus Company, as well as many private vehicles.
A concession stand will be available to purchase snacks and beverages. Balloons and face painting are free with admission. Admission is $6/person or $20/family; two years old and under are free.
All proceeds from this event will go directly to benefit scouting in Westport.
