Huskies volleyball stays undefeated

The Huskies volleyball team stayed undefeated in their division with a 3-0 win over  East Greenwich Tuesday. 

The Husky offense was solid with senior Brooke McGreevy contributing 10 kills, while Sara Godfrey and Azaria McDaniel added five each. Captain Alyssa McGreevy dished up 18 assists, while co-captain Keiana Rodrigues had 7 digs. Sara Godfrey was solid at the net with 5 solo blocks, and sophomore Gigi Greenslade led the defense with 9 digs. Mt. Hope will host West Warwick High School Thursday at 6:30p.m.

Tennis team falls to Cumberland

Singles — 1st Singles: Caroline Parker, Mt. Hope, defeated Helena Juntunen, Cumberland, 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4; 2nd Singles: Allie Ladetto, Cumberland, defeated Sarah Hunt, Mt. Hope, 7-6 (9), 6-4; 3rd Singles: Olivia Rajabiun, Cumberland, defeated Meaghan Dolan, Mt. Hope, 6-1, 6-1; 4th Singles: Casey Farrell, Cumberland, defeated Ali Morreo, Mt. Hope, 7-5, 6-0

Doubles— 1st Doubles: Amiah Sommer-Alex White, Cumberland, defeated Morgan Kane-Brianna Wanamaker, Mt. Hope, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4; 2nd Doubles: Kinza Syed-Hailey Houle, Cumberland, defeated Jillian Parker-Ellie Knapman, Mt. Hope, 6-2 ,6-2; 3rd Doubles: Salma Taghzout-Alli Mowry, Cumberland, defeated Samantha King-Ellee Kopecky, Mt. Hope, 7-6 (2), 6-3.
