The Mt. Hope Huskies hockey team is holding in second place in Division III after beating Narragansett Saturday and skating to a tie with St. John Paul II Sunday.
The Huskies dominated Narragansett/Chariho Sunday, winning 6-1 at Thayer Ice Arena in Warwick. The team followed that up with a 2-2 tie Sunday against St. John Paul at the West Warwick Civic Center.
Mt. Hope, at 9-5-1 overall, 7-4 in division, sit behind first place Pilgrim at 8-3. The huskies next play West Warwick/Exeter-West Greenwich Friday at 7:30 p.m.
