Rose M. (Ranieri) Rubino, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Rose was the beloved wife of Michael J. Rubino for more than 61 years. She was the only child of the late Michael and Angelina (Cardente) Ranieri.

She lived in Warren most of her life, and West Palm Beach, Fla., from 2002 until moving to Bristol in 2015. Rose, known as “Mama Rosie” to her family, was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she leaves 4 children, Michael (Karen) Rubino of Warren, Karen (Dave) Bidwell of Connecticut, Gerald (Dawn) Rubino of Barrington, and Paul (Kathy) Rubino of Massachusetts. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, Alicia (Josh) Securo, Michael (Sheryl) Rubino, David Rubino, Kathryn and Emily Bidwell, Vanessa (Jarred) Marszalek, Jill (Gino) LaFazia, Nicholas Rubino, Joseph (Kristin) Rubino, and Peter Rubino; and five great grandchildren, Owen and Abigail Securo, Adam and Ryan Marszalek and Michael James Rubino.

“Mama Rosie” enjoyed cooking, Sunday dinners, baking, travel, card games, cryptograms, and especially spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her intelligence, beauty, spunk and strong perseverance. Most of all, she will be revered and missed for her selflessness and boundless love for her family.

Services will be private, arrangements by the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services.
