Sandra F. Lanni, 68, passed away Wednesdaym July 6, 2016 at her home on State Street in Warren.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Madeline (Campagnone) Lanni.

She had been a Warren resident for 35 years and attended St. Mary of the Bay Church. Sandra worked for R & J manufacturing in Warren for many years before retiring.

She was the niece of Irene Reeves of Warren, and cousin of Joseph Reeves of Scituate, RI, Albert Reeves of Rehoboth and Steven Reeves of Warren. She was the former companion of the late Eric Johnson.

She was also a dear friend of Judy Johnson and her daughters. She leaves her beloved dog Audrey Rose, and is lso survived by many other family members.

Funeral arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
