The state Fire Marshal has been called in to help investigate a suspicious fire that damaged several cars, a camper and an industrial building on Cutler Street early Thursday morning.

Warren fire crews were called to 68 Cutler St. around 1:30 a.m. for a report of a camper on fire. By the time they arrived the fire had spread to an adjacent car and truck, as well as the older brick building. Volunteer firefighters were able to bring it under control in under half an hour.

The property is owned by John G. and Joyce Ratcliffe.
