Walter Beauregard, 61, of Warren, died Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Veterans’ Administration Medical Center in Providence. He was the husband Darlee Donice (Dutcher) Beauregard; they were married for more than 34 years.

Mr. Beauregard was born in Newport, a son of the late Walter and Elsie (DuPont) Beauregard. He was employed at the Walter Allen Company, the Wharf Tavern, and also Rock Star Limo. He was a graduate of Warren High School, and served as a Corpsman in the US Navy.

Mr. Beauregard was a member of the IOOB Club and the Tiverton Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, watching baseball and hockey games, and also enjoyed marksmanship.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Kyle D. Beauregard and his wife Tara of Tiverton; a daughter, Rachelle D. Beauregard of Warren; two brothers, Karl D. Beauregard and Dale Beauregard, both of Warren; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service was organized by Family’s Choice Cremation Inc. and will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August, 21, at Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. Military Honors follow the service.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m.
