A Warren man is facing multiple charges after allegedly having sex with an underage Bristol girl.

Zachery Primiano, 19, of 14 Birch Swamp Road, Warren, was charged with four counts of third degree sexual assault - statutory rape - and one count of simple assault after Bristol Police received reports of a potential statutory rape on Feb. 13.

During the investigation it was learned that Mr. Primiano engaged in sexual contact with a female over the age of 14 but under the age of 16, according to police reports. The incidents were reported to have occurred between June 2015 to November 2015. Mr. Primiano and the victim were known to each other, police said.

An arrest warrant was requested for Mr. Primiano and on Feb. 16, Warren Police arrested him and brought him to Bristol Police headquarters.

The suspect was brought to 6th District Court and arraigned on the five counts. He was released on $25,000 personal recognizance and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

Mr. Primiano is next scheduled to appear in 6th District Court on May 12 for a pre-arraignment conference.
