Warren police logs: All (mostly) quiet New Year's Eve

Tuesday, Dec. 27

Luis DeLaRosa, 42, of Providence, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police pulled him over on Main Street just after 8 a.m.

Police were called to Main Street for an ongoing property dispute.

Police got a call about kids on Asylum Road throwing rocks at houses and cars.

A caller from Child Street reported being threatened.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

A Croade Street woman asked that police come out, following an argument with her husband.

Someone on Cutler Street complained that a parked car had been tampered with overnight.

Michael S. Joseph, 45, of Johnston, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense, after police pulled him over on Birchswamp Road at 10:35 a.m.

A woman whose car was parked on Bridge Street reported that it had been broken into overnight.

An officer dispersed a man who was attempting to panhandle at Main and Market streets.

Thursday, Dec. 29

Police got a complaint of a man panhandling on Water Street just after 12:30 p.m.

Police were called out to Martin Street for a neighborhood dispute.

A Cottage Street man reported an attempted breaking and entering.

A caller reported a domestic dispute on Ellis Street.

Friday, Dec. 30

Jennifer A. Pacheco, 38, of 347 Main St., Apt. 6, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, after police pulled her over on Warren Avenue at 6 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 31

A caller at the transfer station reported that a resident drove off without paying. Police talked to the resident, who said he would return and pay; it was a miscommunication.

A Frank Court woman reported receiving harassing phone calls and Facebook posts from his daughter’s boyfriend’s mother.

Police got a call about a man and two women arguing in a Child Street residence.

Sunday, Jan. 1

Police got a complaint about people being loud on Child Street.

A loud party complaint came in from Coomer Avenue.

Police went to a Water Street resident on a loud music call. After they left, a caller said, the woman turned the music back up and started banging on walls.

Someone damaged flower pots in front of a Main Street building.

A Water Street man reported receiving harassing phone calls from a neighbor.

A Child Street woman reported her car stolen.

A juvenile called from Union Street to report that his mother’s ex-boyfriend was at the theme, in violation of a temporary restraining order.

William K. Krah, 33, of 12 Baker St., was charged with domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone, larceny under $1,500 and domestic disorderly conduct, after a caller reported that neighbors were fighting.

Monday, Jan. 2

Police got a call about a man panhandling on Main Street.

A Union Street woman complained that an unknown person posted photos of her online without her permission. The woman ultimately decided not to pursue the issue.

Alexander W. Sparfven, 24, of Barrington, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police pulled him over on Arlington Avenue just before 7 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

Devon A. Gomes, 23, of Portsmouth, was arrested on a warrant issued by Second Division District Court, after police spotted a suspicious person at Child and Elm streets just before 2:30 a.m.
