Warren police logs: Dog locks out owner, Trump signs stolen

Monday, Nov. 7
A woman told police that her soon-to-be ex was changing all the locks at their Middle Street home.
Justin A. Mauricio, 27, of Bristol, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license (third or subsequent offense) after police pulled him over on Arlington Avenue just after 6:30 p.m.
A Metacom Avenue resident reported the theft of cash from his home.
Tuesday, Nov. 8
Someone stole a street sign at the corner of Franklin and King streets. The DPW was notified.
Someone stole “Vote Trump” signs from in front of a Market Street home Tuesday. No word on whether Hillary paid a quick visit to Warren on election day.
Someone found a bike on the East Bay Bike Path.
Wednesday, Nov. 9
Police got a call about a small grass fire on Norbert Street.
A woman walking down Fatima Drive called police after a man yelled degrading remarks at her. Police went to the man’s home for a talk and while he wasn’t there, they spoke to a relative.
Police were asked to check on the welfare of a woman reported stumbling in and out of the road on Child Street.
A Water Street woman reported being harassed by her ex.
Thursday, Nov. 10
Police were asked to disperse a drunken man from a property on Market Street.
Police got a call about a person being loud on Long Wharf Drive.
Michael P. Harvey, 46, of 325 Child St., Apt. 11, was charged with domestic simple assault/battery, third offense, and domestic disorderly conduct, after police were called to his home at 9:41 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 11
A Warren Avenue woman found a man passed out in front of her door at 2:36 a.m., and called police. They arrived a short time later and woke up the man, who went up to his second floor apartment. No word on whether just a bit too much alcohol was involved.
A caller from Barton Ave complained that nearby cows broke a fence on a property she leases and caused damage to areas that had been planted for the next season. The owner said he’d evaluate the fence and repair the damage.
A caller from King Street called police after his dog locked the doors of his car that was running in the driveway. No word on whether they were bound for the vet.
A man from Croade Street told police that his mother and brother had been fighting all day.
A caller reported finding a cell phone on Child Street.
Saturday, Nov. 12
Someone complained that a man was using meat smoker on (yes, actually on) Davis Street. Police told them to take the smoker out of the road; he said he’d be packing it up for the day.
A man and woman were spotted arguing on Davis Street.
Sunday, Nov. 13
A caller reported that a neighbor on Long Wharf Drive was making too much noise. Police spoke to the noisy neighbor, who said he’d keep it down.
Police had a talk with an unruly juvenile on Colin Circle.
A Vernon Street woman complained about harassing telephone calls.
A Water Street woman complained of harassment by her landlord, and told police she would be withholding rent until work was done on her apartment.
