Yvonne R. Goyette, 78, Westport

Yvonne R. (St. Pierre) Goyette, 78, of Westport, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Roland G. Goyette, Sr.

Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Louis and Irene (Rousselle) St. Pierre, she had lived in Westport for 54 years.  Mrs. Goyette enjoyed sewing, jigsaw puzzles and reading her Bible, but most of all she loved taking care of her home, children, grandchildren and her pet dog Bruno.

Survivors include three daughters, Diane Pelland and her husband Barry of Swansea, Linda Anctil and her husband David of Westport, and Jeanne Goyette of Westport; two sons, Roland G. Goyette, Jr. of Dartmouth, and Wayne Goyette and his wife Julie of Westport; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Private arrangements were held under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport.
