Ann Marie Blouin, 75, of Mason Street, Warren, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospita, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Blouin Sr.

Born in Warren, she was a daughter of the late John and Victoria (Pagano) Costa Sr. Mrs. Blouin enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with all of her grandchildren.

She leaves three daughters, Deborah Sylvester and her husband Timothy, Laurie Blouin and her partner Andrea Wasielewski  and Jennifer Martin-Malone and her companion Joseph Borges, all of Warren; one son, Donald R. Blouin Jr. and his husband Patrick Aiken of West Greenwich; five grandchildren, Christopher and Andrew Sylvester, Patrick and Victoria Martin-Malone and Elizabeth Borges; three great-grandchildren, Nyla Martin-Malone, Christopher Borges and Aria Sylvester; one sister, Rita Galinelli; one brother, John Costa Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
