Boat aground on the Kickemuit

Posted

Touisset Point resident Fred Massie took these photos Tuesday of an unregistered sailboat that broke loose from its mooring on the Kickemuit and ended up on its side just north of Kickemuit Avenue in Bristol. Mr. Massie, who spends a lot of time on the river, said the boat also went aground last summer and at the time, he asked Bristol Harbormaster Greg Marsilli to look into it. Mr. Marsilli could not be reached for comment Wednesday afternoon.
