C. Gene Davis, 74, formerly of Bristol

C. Gene “Hot Rod” Davis, 74, of Warren, passed away on Feb. 19, 2017 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Center. He was the husband of Barbara (Cameron) Davis.  

Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Clarence and Clara (Avila) Davis. He was the brother of Robert Davis and Richard Davis; uncle of Robert Davis, Monica Davis, Ryan Davis, Richard Davis, Lauren Davis and the late Nancy Davis DeBlois. He also is survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Davis attended Bristol schools and worked as a diesel mechanic.

His funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28, 9 a.m., from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 399 Hope St. Calling hours are Monday, Feb. 27, 4-8 p.m.
