Cumberland Farms re-zone rejected in Warren

Posted

The Cumberland Farms convenience store at 66 Market St. is staying put for now, after the Warren Town Council on Tuesday evening rejected a request to re-zone another Market Street parcel to accommodate its move there. The request, to re-zone the 326 Market St. property owned by Karen Fisher-Lamoia from rural business to business, was rejected mostly on traffic concerns, as councilors voting against the request said it could cause traffic congestion along Market Street. Warren Town Council president Joseph DePasquale was the only council member to vote for the zone change.
