Lady Huskies lose to South Kingstown in D-II semis, 15-14

SOUTH KINGSTOWN — The Mt. Hope girls lacrosse team fell to South Kingstown 15-14 in the Division II semifinals at Curtis Corner Middle School field on Thursday afternoon. It was the second loss to South for the Huskies. In their second game of the year, the two evenly matched teams played to a 13-13 tie before South won the game in overtime.

Divison II quarterfinals:

The Lady Huskies crushed Middletown 16-7. Huskies junior attacker Grace Moclair scored eight goals and added two assists in the quarterfinals game at home on Saturday, May 27. Midfielder Jenna Cimbron added three goals and five assists. Jillian Parker scored two goals and Ella Hanley, Allie Reavis and Alyssa McGreevey each scored one goal.

Notes:

The Huskies ended their season with a 12-3 record, 11-2 in the division.
