Letter: An armed society is a safe society
To the editor:
Gun shows and rifle and pistol ranges are packed with guns. Why are
those venues not common sites of mass shootings? Because anyone
intending murder knows that those places are filled with people who
could and would shoot back.
Mass shootings are committed in schools, nightclubs and other 'gun-free'
zones, actually disarmed victim zones, where law-abiding people have no
weapons and cannot defend themselves.
An armed society is a safer society. Guns save lives.
