Barrington police are investigating a larceny that took place at the D'Angelo's sandwich shop.

The store manager called police at about 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, after he discovered money missing from the store safe and cash register. The manager reviewed security camera footage and also shared the video with police.

The suspect has been identified as a 17-year-old boy from Warren, who was supposed to close the store the night before. The store manager also said it appeared the boy made some sandwiches that he did not pay for.

Police spoke with the boy's father and have requested that he stop by the station.
