Police in Warren are investigating the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for a week.
The family of Maraysha Hicks reported her missing Wednesday, April 26, telling police that she had not been seen or heard from since Monday, April 24. Pings to her phone and the use of a phone locating app provided no additional details on her whereabouts. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black leggings, stands 5’4” and weighs about 134 pounds. She has shoulder length wavy brown hair and brown eyes.
Deputy Warren Police Chief Joseph Loiselle said Monday that a detective is actively investigating the case. He wrote in a press release later that day that Maraysha may be depressed. She has been known to frequent Fall River and police in that city have been notified of her disappearance.
If you have more information, contact the Warren Police Department at 245-1311. Deputy Chief Loiselle said tips will remain confidential.
