Monday, Aug. 27

Westley Sprague, 24, of 593 Main St., Apt. 1, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police pulled him over on Market Street just before 2:30 p.m.

An Uber driver turned in a debit card that a passenger had left in his car.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

A man who was trying to call his fiancé on her cell phone called police after getting no response.

Police were called to Main Street just before 7:30 a.m. for a sick coyote.

Ashley M. Crane, 23, of Barrington, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, first offense, after police pulled her over on Main Street at 9:11 a.m.

A Central Avenue resident reported receiving threatening messages.

Police got a call about a panhandler on Water Street at 12:29 p.m.

A juvenile girl told police she did not feel safe at home, because family members took away her cell phone.

Jonathon M. Holden, 30, of Cranston, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, second offense, after police pulled him over on Market Street at 7:16 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

A Harris Avenue man called to complain about his neighbor’s goats.

Michael S. Cesaroni, 31, of 2 Redwood Court, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense, after he was involved in an accident on Market Street at 4:19 p.m.

A caller complained about people digging clams near the Warren bridge.

Jacob M. Weeden, 19, of 15 Third School St., was charged with simple assault or battery, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, after police responded to Vernon Street at 11:52 p.m. for a disturbance.

Thursday, Aug. 30

A Kickemuit Road resident called police after receiving threatening messages.

Police went to Overhill Road at 1:37 p.m. for a neighborhood disturbance.

An Overhill Road resident reported the theft of an inspection sticker.

A Metacom Avenue resident reported a stolen cell phone.

A caller told police that children were unbuckled in a car on Child Street. A search turned up no result.

A Stuart Street man told police that someone stole his tent.

A caller complained about a man arguing with two women on Main Street just before 10 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 31

Justin G. Silvia, 31, of 42 Croade St., was arrested on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant.

Fire crews extinguished a smoldering mulch fire on Child Street at 9:22 a.m.

A Child Street woman called police after a woman appeared outside of her apartment and began harassing her.

Saturday, Sept. 1

A caller complained about a house party on Child Street at 12:34 a.m.

Fire crews extinguished a trash can fire on Miller Street that was called in at 8:45 a.m.

A Palmer Avenue man reported a lost or stolen cell phone.

A Main Street resident complained about fireworks at 5:39 p.m.

A Croade Street woman reported a previous assault.

A Norbert Street woman reported getting into an argument with a man at 6:58 p.m.

Several callers complained about fireworks at Water and Main streets.

A caller asked police to check on the well-being of a Wilbur Avenue woman who may have been having an issue with her ex-husband.

A Birchswamp Road resident reported a pair of horses in the road.

Sunday, Sept. 2

A Ridgeway Drive resident reported at 7:38 a.m. that a skunk had gotten stuck in a discarded cup. The caller reported a few minutes later that the skunk extricated itself and ran off into the woods.

A Lyndon Street resident complained about a loud party at 10:34 p.m.
