Warren police logs: Man faces felony domestic charge

Monday, Feb. 11
Police got a complaint about a car parked in a construction zone on Church Street.
A caller reported finding graffiti on a building on Main Street.
A caller told police he saw a truck hit a parked car on Child Street. Police contacted the car's owner, who came down to file an accident report.
A Maple Road woman complained about a generator she said was running all night long. When police got there the generator was not running.
A man called police to report that someone had broken into his apartment. Police spoke to the man; police said he appeared intoxicated, and was not the resident — he'd been evicted beforehand.
Tuesday, Feb. 12
Police were called to a Market Street address for a child custody matter.
Wednesday, Feb. 13
Police got a call about a couple arguing on Baker Street.
A Warren man told police that someone stole his daughter's musical instrument from school.
A Davis Street man asked that police remove a woman from his residence.
Thursday, Feb. 14
Anthony D. Trisvane, 25, of Providence, was charged with possession of marijuana, one ounce or greater, first offense, after police pulled him over on Metacom Avenue at 1:13 a.m. Police said he had 108 grams, or approximately four ounces, in his possession.
The animal control officer helped remove an injured swan from the lane of travel on Serpentine Road, near Kickemuit.
A Davis Street caller reported neighbors fighting.
Police got a call about an injured swan in the parking lot of the Warren Housing Authority/Kickemuit Village.
Police checked out a report of a woman who might have been drinking alcohol while sitting in a parked car on Metacom Avenue.
Thomas R. Croteau, 33, of Swansea, was charged on a warrant for violating a protective order, after police pulled over him over on Child Street.
A Davis Street man asked that police remove two of his friends from his apartment. He told the dispatcher he didn't know their names.
A man called police after finding a wallet at Main and Water streets.
A Metacom Avenue resident complained that she could hear music in her apartment coming from the spinning shop next door.
Friday, Feb. 15
A caller told police that several cars on Arlington Avenue had been rummaged through, but nothing appeared to have been taken except perhaps for some change.
A Main Street woman told police that her daughter received an explicit text message.
An Arlington Avenue man reported lost or stolen license plates.
A Homestead Avenue woman told police that her daughter was being harassed through Social Media.
Joseph D. Valentine, 48, of 390 Metacom Ave., first floor, was taken to the ACI and faces a host of charges after police received a call from a woman on Metacom Avenue who told them that he would not let her leave the residence. Police arrived and ultimately charged Mr. Valentine with domestic felony assault, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic strangulation, domestic simple assault/battery, domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone, and domestic disorderly conduct.
A caller reported two men arguing on Market Street.
Saturday, Feb. 16
A caller found a syringe on Child Street.
A barking dog complaint came in from Market Street.
A Croade Street man told police that someone broke a window on his home.
A caller complained about a car lacking a handicapped placard that was parked in a handicapped spot on Third Street. Police spoke to the owner, a woman who explained that she'd forgotten to place the placard on her dash.
Sunday, Feb. 17
A Child Street man complained that kids threw trash and rocks into his yard.
A woman told police that her roommate's ex-boyfriend was outside their Sowamsett Avenue's home, banging on the door and windows.
