Monday, June 25

A caller told police that a tractor trailer truck struck a sign and fire escape on a building at Market and Main streets.

Michael P. Piacente Jr., 24, of South Kingstown, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense, after police pulled him over on Almy Avenue just after 11 a.m.

Police and rescue crews got a call just before 2 p.m. regarding an intoxicated man who fell and may have injured himself on Bridge Street.

A vandalism complaint came in from Laurel Lane.

A Ridgeway Drive woman complained that her boyfriend took her cell phone during a prior argument.

A Water Street resident called in a sick opossum.

Police got a call the people were lighting off illegal fireworks on Hope Street.

A caller from Union Street reported that his stepchild assaulted his wife.

Tuesday, June 26

Kenneth F. Camadeco, 63, of Davis Street, was arrested on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant after police got a call from Davis Street just after 9 a.m., about a man sleeping on the sidewalk.

Police got a call from Hugh Cole Road, about a car driving around with a child on the hood.

An employee at a Main Street business complained just before 7 p.m. that a man was loitering and panhandling. Police spoke to the person in question, who ended up leaving on a RIPTA bus.

A Long Lane man complained about loud music at a neighbor’s house.

Wednesday, June 27

Dante Silva, 21, of 35 Federal St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a warrant. State records indicate a current charge of domestic assault filed against him by the Bristol Police Department.

Ian R. Leger, 22, of Tiverton, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense, after police pulled him over on Franklin Street at 10:20 a.m.

Police were called to Laurel Lane for a civil dispute regarding residency in a home there.

A resident was bitten by a dog on Seymour Street. Though the victim refused treatment, police quarantined the dog.

Two people were arrested after police were called about a domestic disturbance on Union Street just before 7 p.m. Charged with domestic disorderly conduct was Mark S. Durand, 39, of 20 Union St., first floor. In addition, Joshua Rapoza, 31, of Westport, was arrested on a Second Division District Court bench warrant.

Carlo D. Ferreira, 37, of 51 Laurel Lane, was charged with violating a no contact order and domestic disorderly conduct, after a woman called police from Laurel Lane to report being harassed.

Thursday, June 28

Rescue crews transported a man to detox at Rhode Island Hospital after police spotted him at 2:48 a.m. at Main and Child streets.

Jonathan R. Teixeira, 26, of Bristol, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense, after police pulled him over on Market Street.

A caller reported a past road rage incident in which a suspect pulled a gun.

A Market Street woman reported receiving harassing phone calls.

Luis I. Taveras, 35, of 53 Wheaton St., was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to Main Street to disperse a man from he area.

Friday, June 29

A caller reported spotting a pet turtle in the middle of Main Street.

Isaiah Thomas Rathbone, 36, of 18 Wood St., was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and two counts of simple assault or battery, after police were called to Kelly Street by a man who said Mr. Rathbone assaulted him.

A caller from Wood Street complained about fireworks being lit off just before midnight.

Saturday, June 30

A loud music complaint came in from Wilbur Avenue at 1:40 p.m.

A caller complained about kids driving a golf cart around the Touisset area.

Sunday, July 1

Police got a call about a person being harassed at work on Main Street.

A caller complained about a dog running loose on the beach.

A Patience Lane woman asked that police remove her daughter from the home for the evening.

Monday, July 2

Rondell A. Banks, 31, of Pawtucket, was charged with violating a no contact order after a woman called to report a man and woman in a white car arguing on Main Street just before 4:30 a.m.
