Monday, June 19

A caller from Overhill Road spotted a loose chicken in the yard. Police didn’t find any fowl play.

A Main Street man said a friend took his money to buy things at the store but returned without said items, and without his money.

A fireworks complaint came in from Asylum Road.

Jason M. Furtado, 37, of Bristol, was arrested on a Superior Court warrant.

Police were called out to Market Street for a dispute between a landlord and tenant.

Police got a call about an aggressive put bull on the loose on Metacom Avenue. The owner was called and took the dog.

Tuesday, June 20

A juvenile, 17, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of driver’s license.

A woman on Butterworth Drive called to report that it appeared either to be snowing, or there was a fire in the neighborhood as she had white ashes all over her deck. It turned out to be flower petals falling from a tree.

A man called police after finding a bike in woods behind Metacom Avenue.

A woman on Brownell Street reported being bitten by a dog.

Wednesday, June 21

A woman on Child Street complained that neighbors in an adjoining apartment were “pushing heat through the walls to her body,” and that they were keeping her awake with their noise.

A Water Street man told police that someone rummaged through his car.

An iPad was reported stolen from a Kenny Drive home.

A caller reported seeing a coyote on Asylum Road.

A loud music complaint came in from Long Lane.

Thursday, June 22

Police were called to Meadow Street for a parking dispute.

Joshua A. Walls, 34, of Providence, was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police on a Warren charge of violating a no contact order.

Friday, June 23

An Arlington Avenue man complained that his neighbors were being loud.

Frank J. Alfano Jr., 33, of 28 Child St., Apt. 4, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct, after police were called to Child Street for a dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend.

A Harris Avenue parent called police with a request to file a disobedient child report.

Saturday, June 24

A Water Street man complained that the mother of his child was harassing him and making unwanted phone calls.

Two people were arrested when police were called to Hope Street for a domestic disturbance. Desarray Skac, 21, of 32 Hope St., and Michael Pavao, 21, of 11 Arlington Ave., Apt. 3, were each charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Maria G. Costa, 56, of 28 Wood St., second floor, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, after a caller reported at 1:26 p.m. that there was a possible drunk driver on Child Street.

Victoria L. Quintal, 23, of 19 Hanley Farm Road, was charged with domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct, after police were called to Main Street for a domestic disturbance. 

A fireworks complaint came in from Napoleon Street. Another call came in shortly thereafter from Cutler Street.

Sunday, June 25

A Milwaukee Avenue woman told police that she hadn’t talked to her friend in several days, and now the friend’s voicemail was full and she couldn’t leave a message.

A fox was struck by a car on Market Street.

Christopher Cioe, 27, of 109 Market St., second floor, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license.

A caller from Fairview Avenue reported spotting what appeared to be a “pet rat” in the her yard. Police arrived but the officer noted that when he arrived, the rat “went into hiding.”

Brendan John Benequisto, 34, of 1 Shipyard Lane, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by Second Division District Court.

Monday, June 26

A Martin Street woman complained that her son would not get out of her car; she needed to get to work and would be late if he didn’t get out, she told police.
