Warren police logs: Woman in drug case arrested on warrant

Monday, Feb. 5

Police were called to the Kickemuit Middle School to deal with a disobedient student.

A Cole Street woman called police after her boyfriend refused to leave. After they arrived, he left.

Tuesday, Feb. 6

A Mill Street woman alerted police about a domestic incident with her daughter.

A Vernon Street resident called in an Internet scam.

A Riverview Street woman called police with concerns about her elderly father. He wanted to drive, she said, but she did not think he should.

John Michael Jimenez, 25, of Providence, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, second offense, after police pulled him over on Market Street at 4:11 p.m.

Police got a call about a verbal altercation in a Wood Street parking lot. 

Police got a call that kids were shooting fireworks at cars near Main and Campbell streets.

A complainant told police that someone stole funds from a business bank account.

Wednesday, Feb. 7

A package was stolen from the front door of a Water Street home.

A caller told police that people were moving artifacts from a burying ground on Massasoit Avenue. Police checked it out and found that the area was being cleared for a cemetery expansion.

A woman called police with concerns that her ex-husband was driving back and forth past her home on Main Street, and was also ringing the doorbell. Police contacted the man in Newport, where he lives.

Christal Lema, 43, of 5 Children St., Apt. 4, was arrested on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant. The arrest is in reference to three charges of possession of a controlled substance filed in 2015 by Bristol police.

Thursday, Feb. 8

Police and emergency crews were called at 8:45 a.m. to attend to an intoxicated man on Market Street.

A Company Street woman reported being harassed.

Friday, Feb. 9

A resident walked in to complain that a man was selling Oxycontin pills.

A Fatima Drive woman told police that while she was walking her dog, her husband’s ex-girlfriend spotted her and threatened to beat her up.

Saturday, Feb. 10

A walk-in complained that someone opened a Kohl’s charge card under her name.

A caller from Metacom Avenue reported that a resident was swapping a license plate between two separate cars.

A man complained that a co-worker glued a magnet to the back of his car.

Sunday, Feb. 11

A dead rabbit call came in from Norbert Street, and a dead raccoon call from Barton Avenue.

A woman called to report that her boyfriend was being harassed at the Market Street Cumberland Farms.

A Bradbury Street man called police after a woman in her 50s knocked on his door and asked for a place to stay. He didn’t know her, he said.

A caller from Touisset Road complained that someone drove on to the lawn of a neighbor’s home.

A woman on Main Street complained that kids were lighting fireworks on her property. 

A Davis Street woman called police with concerns that her sister was being abused by her boyfriend.

Monday, Feb. 12

A Water Street woman called police after her disobedient daughter threw her brush in the toilet.

A caller from Kinnicutt Avenue reported a loose boxer. No word on whether it was Vinny Paz.
